Some additional updates:

Leave trash on the deck by hot tub and we will pick it up. Raccoons and other critters are in abundance at the creek and they will upset a trash can at ground level. If you use the grills, please wipe the cooking surface after each use (while still warm) You’ll find basic cleaning supplies and extra trash bags in the kitchen. 

Pack Light to navigate the Spiral Staircase. We’ve already had a frost on the creek and even though the stairs have treads on them - they can be slick when wet. Use the hand rail for extra safety. 

Bring a kayak, fishing pole, folding lawn chairs and fire wood (most convenient stores have small bundles) for the fire pit.

Bug Spray is a great addition to your travel kit in the warmer months.

Welcome to The Loft at Stoner Creek. We have tried to provide most everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The cabin can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (2 adults, two kids) and there is a strict no party rule along with no smoking or vaping inside the cabin or on the decks. Check-in is easy and so is checkout - enjoy your stay and if we can provide any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. 

We have provided a kitchen and an outdoor electric grill should you wish to eat in. PLEASE NO cooking grease or food in the sink drain. Bath and hot tub towels are provided. Plus, there are a number of restaurants downtown if you don't feel like cooking, plus shops and convenient stores if you have forgotten anything all just a couple of minutes from Captain Tuttle’s. Try local coffee roaster and deli Happy People or Fresh bread from Hopewell Bake Exchange - both oil the 700 block of main. The Paris Farmers Market Store is just a few steps off of Main at the corner of 8th and High Street with lots of local produce, jams and more.

The Loft is built on posts 10 feet tall and is accessible ONLY by a spiral staircase. There is no access to the cabin during seasonal flooding events (early spring). It's not uncommon to have high water that is 3 - 4 feet, hence the platform construction at Captain Tuttle’s. 

There may be weather related blackout dates. We experience seasonal floods that make access to Captain Tuttle's impossible. High water events are short lived, January - Early April

Pets require a $250 deposit and must always be on a leach outside the cabin.

Checkout time is 11 AM. We would please ask you to checkout promptly, this allow us time to get ready for our next guests. 

On leaving here are few things you can do to help us get ready for the next guest:

Bag trash and leave it on the deck by hot tub

Cover Hot Tub and turn temp down

Wipe surfaces and sweep if necessary

Wipe outside grill if it has been used

Remove bed linen and leave them and towels on the bed - you may leave the bed spread

Return books, games and other items to their proper places

Load and start dishwasher

Turn off lights, fans, TVs and stereo and turn down the heat or AC.
